Being curvy for most of her life, Sumer Noelle dreamed of being a full figure model. While shopping the Torrid website one day, she noticed that she could submit photos for modeling. Head photographer Michael Anthony loved her look and had her fly to Los Angeles for a go see. He was so impressed; he hired her on the spot. She modeled for Torrid for a year and a half, with her images appearing on email ads and the online catalog for nearly two years. Shooting for Torrid gave her an incredible start in the business, the “foot in the door” that she had been seeking. She now had the experience and confidence she needed to pursue other modeling jobs.
In the four years she’s been modeling, she has accomplished so many amazing things, including walking in highly publicized fashion shows such as Kiss the Curves, San Francisco’s Chic Fashion Week, and most recently in Full Figure Fashion Week in Los Angeles. She has been fortunate to work with some of the top full figure designers such as Igigi, Jill Alexander, Chan.nel Karama Ltd. and Eliza Parker among others. She has modeled for several online catalogs and has been featured in fashion editorials in Skorch Magazine and Plus Model Magazine. She will soon grace the pages of Bride Nine magazine.
Sumer feels truly honored to be able to collaborate with many talented photographers, designers, models, hair stylists, makeup artists, editors and coaches in the full figure fashion world who continue to be an inspiration. Her hopes are that she can inspire women and girls who have curves to stay healthy, be confident, and know that they are truly beautiful!
