It’s 2012 and what better way to start off this fabulous year then a fashion review for one of the top plus size designers in the world…Queen Grace.
The Queen Grace Collection launched in 2011. Marina Zelner is the genius behind this AMAZING line and was kind enough to send me three of her lovely dresses. As soon as the package arrived I wasted no time trying them on! After seeing her line debut at Full Figured Fashion Week I knew she was onto something special and unique. Her clothes by far, are made with the highest quality materials I have ever felt. These clothes will literally last forever no matter how many times you clean them. I have been searching for classy, elegant clothes like this my whole life. Her line is perfect for weddings, dates, social events as well as the nightlife.
Let’s get down to it! The first dress I shot in was the ‘Victoria Dress’ which is one of my favorites! I’m a sequin girl and this has just the right amount to give you some flash. It’s made up of viscose, satin, poly, and spandex and has a very comfortable lining underneath. It goes for $229 which is not bad at all considering the quality and style of this piece. So many words come to mind when I think of this dress… Elegant, classy, stylish but powerful is the best way to describe it. It hugged every curve on my body and was free flowing so I never felt constricted. Luxury and Comfy…WOW!
Next, I wore the ‘Grace Dress’ and let me say, if you wear this out on the town you’re going to turn heads. It has a very fierce and edgy style to it, very retro and chic! The pictures I took in this are among my absolute favorites because it gives you a certain level of confidence that just radiates. The dress is made up of vegan leather with cotton backing, satin, poly, spandex and sells for a reasonable $189. I must warn you; this is a “Limited Edition” so you should probably scoop this up ASAP!
Last but certainly not least is the ‘Elise Dress‘‘ which is stunning and had me feeling like royalty. This dress was made for a queen and trust me, you can tell from the pictures I enjoyed every second of it. It’s beautifully shaped, is made of poly, spandex and rayon and it has an adjustable belt which is incredibly flexible. This one goes for $199 and is also a “Limited Edition” piece. The partially lace sleeves make it stand out and give it a very rich look which I have now come to love about the Queen Grace line.
I would like to give a special shout out to Lisa Pool who was fabulous in sending me these wonderful luxurious dresses. Thank you so much to Marina Zelner, for breathing fresh air into every full figured women’s wardrobe. Queen Grace is definitely GLAMORSIZED to the fullest!
