Real Quick!
I just got off the phone with the corporate offices of CJ by Cookie Johnson and was informed that they no longer sell any PLUS SIZE clothing.
This was shocking considering they still have a Plus Section listed on their website and their About Page states the following:
“At Cj by Cookie Johnson, we are committed to helping you love the way you look, by offering you the best fitting, premium denim fit for women with real bodies.
We fit our garments on curvy women of all sizes to make sure the jeans are flattering in all the right places. Cj by Cookie Johnson offers more room in the thighs and derriere and comes up a bit higher in the back than most lines.
We offer the most current fashion trends for all sizes. Whatever your size or shape, you will feel beautiful in our jeans!”
She even states personally in her video on the about page: “I could not find a pair of jeans to fit me and I was very frustrated and I wanted to do something about it“. It sounds like she started off with the best intentions but it seems like the all mighty dollar made her frustrations go away more than a quality fitting pair of jeans ever could.
Finally I asked , “What do you mean you no longer sell plus size, I am looking at right here on your website” and was then told that it’s just left over merchandise so when its gone so is their plus line.
Very sad! What do you think about this??
