Fall is in full effect and we have the perfect Model Icon for October 2012…AG! She embodies everything we like when it comes to modeling, to say that her portfolio is impressive would be an understatement…It’s awe inspiring!
I have been modeling for about 9 years now, and never stop loving every second of it. I have done runway, fashion, catalog, print, editorial, lifestyle, lingerie, beauty, swimsuit, commercial (print and video), body part, fit, artistic, glamour, promotional and event modeling. You name it and I’ve done it. I have been a vocal advocate of size acceptance within the industry throughout my entire career, and a firm believer that size has nothing to do with beauty. Over the years I have truly loved the fact that the world has embraced me as a beauty model, even though I defy the average model size.
As much as I love fashion, modeling and the imagery we create, I also adore the written word. I love to tell stories, real and make believe; I sometimes occasionally like to mix the two (but you didn’t hear that from me). I especially like the sound of laughter, and often in my writing my main goal is to make you smile… but I also like to make you cringe as well! It is the anomaly that is me.
I am currently the Alternative Fashion Editor at Bay Fashion Magazine, and strive to showcase different types of models throughout the industry. Plus models, petite models, pin-up models, tattoo models, and all the people in between are my specialty.
I have been agency represented for a short time in the past, but prefer to beat to my own drum and manage myself. I work much better when I am allowed to run free and wild!
I work as an editor exclusively for Bay Fashion Magazine, but I write for multiple other magazines as a freelance writer as well.
