Solid Marketing Advice for Your Curvy Business Brand

Going through every store listed on the shopping page made us quickly realize that most companies and even some designers still have an extremely outdated look. We put together some quick-tips that could help!

Your-website-is-your-first-impression

First, your website should be considered as important as the product your selling. It’s 2013 so your site should not resemble 1998. Avoid ‘WIX’ and related junk pages since you can get a pro site starting at around $400.

Dynamic-Clothjing-Line-marketed-wrong

Next, you’ve just created a dynamic clothing line and you’re gonna cut corners showcasing it…hmmm? Work with professional photographers that have experience shooting figured models. Be sure to ask about their photo re-touching skills because just snapping a picture means nothing when it come to finished product.

Use-True-Plus-Size-Models

Use “True” plus size models to advertise your product. Stop using models sizes 4 to 8 when marketing to an audience that you know ranges from size 10 and up. Most will leave the site never to return and will probably tell others the same.

Great-Social-Media-Tools-That-Are-Still-Truly-Free-in-2013

Marketing and advertising via social media has and will continue to change drastically! On Facebook, you now reach a measly 3-5% of your total audience. Focus on the true freebies like… Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and Tumblr. We recommend hiring a  brand manager.

Hope these quick tips help and if you have any advice or lessons learned on this topic please share down below with our readers.
